Leader of the section for collection and evacuation of the wounded (medical company of the National Guard of Ukraine, Northern Territorial Directorate) expressed his opinion about haemostatic Revul.
“One of the main elements of our first aid kits, which we assemblefor soldiers who stand at checkpoints and forefront positions, are haemostatic products. In particular, we were given a few samples of haemostatic Revul for testing.
We tried it first on small wounds and then on the larger ones. Basically, Revul has proven itself to be quite effective, so there is an urgent need to replace Celox and Celox-like haemostatics which our soldiers are overloaded with. They cause serious burns of both the eyes and periwound area further on. They should be replaced with a safer haemostatic called Revul.”
