VIDEO from a military medic about Revul hemostatic bandage and its use

A military medic with combat experience in the south and east of Ukraine shares her impressions of using the Revul hemostatic bandage. She tells about the advantages, why it is not inferior to alternatives and compares the effectiveness of local hemostatic agents based on chitosan and kaolin.

In 2022, among the wide range of hemostatics, the product Revul appeared again on the market of Ukraine.

As of now, it is a high-quality and effective hemostatic bandage, which is not inferior to alternatives. The advantages:

  • convenience of tamponing due to the soft texture of the material;
  • speed of blood clotting commensurate with analogues.

Hemostatic dressing material Revul is a highly effective hemostatic agent made of chitosan, intended for immediate stopping of bleeding at the pre-hospital stage (similar to the well-known Celox).

In the wound, after removing the bandage, the remains of chitosan fibers are dissolved by enzymes within 24 hours, unlike insoluble kaolin.
